Harry Potter scarf - crochetby ~cideon

Artisan Crafts / Needlework / Crochet

This is the first 'major' thing I did once I learned how to crochet. It is all single crochet, though I forgot to measure the finished length. The yarns are "I Love This Yarn" cranberry, and "Red Heart" gold. The red is more burgundy and the gold less yellow in real life, though my camera didn't do such a great job with the fake light. I finished this in about 2-3 weeks, and gave it to my friend. Now just gotta make my own, and with a slightly different way to switch colors so hopefully the squares won't be so rounded at the ends

Harry Potter and his world are a creation of J.K. Rowling. I only made the physical scarf based on the ones used in one of the early films.

You finished this in 2-3 weeks?! WAAH! That's amazing! I've been working on mine for like three weeks already and I'm only 1/2 way done... You used HDC for this? How many stitches per row?

looks like in there post they said SC looks like its 25 stiches wide by 25 rows sounds like they just made a bunch of SC blocks and then sewed them together.

have you finished yours yet?
